This worked first time. I bought this, slightly more expensive version of an ice maker when the cheaper one I bought did not start up. Cleaned easily, nice amount of ice.
Note, it has instructions to leave it upright for 6 hours before first use. ( like all refridgerators - the systems are designed to have the coolant be a gas in some of the tubes, while liquids in the others). The first machine did not warn me of this problem, perhaps that was the problem.
The only thing I would change would be to put a hook on the outside to hold the scoop when not in use.
