I purchased this ice machine for traveling in my rv. I tried it out when I received it and am very pleased with it. Within 2 to 3 hours I was able to fill a gallon size zip lock . The first few cubes did come out quite thin, however after that the machine made thicker cubes. My daughter has an older ice maker different brand . She is impressed with mine and is considering purchasing this one.
